Joining the company in E&I engineering he supported multiple projects and tool integration initiatives.

Within R&D he led a team to develop text mining and data analytics systems introducing multiple new technologies like in-memory computation and search. The team successfully launched multiple applications leveraging innovative technologies to combine text mining and numerical analytics for diverse user groups.

Capitalizing on a blend of computer science and engineering experience Kurt took over responsibility for automation and digitalization in operations after joining the Catalysts business in New Jersey. With his team he focuses on introducing value added technologies aligned with business strategies while creating a future proof platform enabling an agile ecosystem in manufacturing.

Kurt holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe (TH) in Germany.
